Zomato also revealed that Bengaluru placed 30 lakh more orders than Mumbai. However, Mumbaikars ordered about Rs 3 crore more than Bengaluru. On the eve of New Year, officials of platforms like Blinkit, Swiggy, Instamart shared many information on social media. According to this, till 8 pm on December 31, Blinkit delivered 2.3 lakh packets of Aloo Bhujia. Also, orders for chips on Swiggy Instamart increased to 853 orders per minute.
